Beer Cocktail

Ingredients

For cocktail:

  • 1 Ounce rum
  • 1 lemon or lime, juiced
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 1 Ounce simple syrup (recipe below)
  • 4 Ounces beer
  • ice

For simple syrup:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Directions

For simple syrup:

  1. Heat water and sugar in saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Whisk until sugar has dissolved.
  3. Let cool. Store in covered container in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

For cocktail:

  1. Fill 16 ounce glass with ice.
  2. Add rum, simple syrup, lemon or lime, and orange juices.
  3. Top with beer.
