About Us

Wine Butler is a 30 year old award-winning retail winemaking company that helps it’s clients make affordable wine. We provide our clients with excellent customer service and support to encourage repeat retail sales. We are hiring help for our Toronto store near Yorkdale Mall and our Mississauga store on Lakeshore in-between Dixie & Cawthra.

Wine Butler is looking for candidates to fill the following positions:

1.) Customer Service / Retail Sales

Several positions available

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • showing customers how to bottle wine
  • answering phone and computer inquiries
  • taking wine reservations
  • making product recommendations
  • pulling orders
  • keeping things tidy…

Qualifications:

  • Wine experience an asset but not necessary
  • 19+
  • Must be personable, friendly, and reliable
  • Ability to move around and pick up wine orders

Hours are flexible weekend work is required (Saturdays or Sundays…). Part time available. Full time as well for the right candidate.

2.) Warehouse Labour – Wine Production & Manufacturing

Several positions available

Have you always wanted to learn a craft? Be part of Success Company and Team? Well here’s your chance! You will join a team of winemakers who will train you in our essential wine processing steps (i.e. Make, Rack, Stabilize & Clear and Filter wine). Learn how to make wine from start to finish! General labour, production or manufacturing experience an asset.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • make wine adhere to standards
  • receive shipments
  • general labour and tidying/cleaning to keep warehouse sanitary

Hiring for Wednesday, Friday, Saturday (at least 2 of these must work for you)- start time at 6 am.

Requirements:

An ideal candidate is:

* committed, takes the initiative, and handles pressure well.

* organized, forward-thinking and has great time management.

* good physical condition to handle: increased demand, lift and bend with equipment weighting upwards to 70lbs.

* Must have steel toe boots

* can work cooperatively and assist team-members and has a great sense of humour!

Not required, but considered an asset:

* A walkie-stacker forklift license

* G2/G drivers license

The winemaking position does not require any previous experience in the field, only a willingness to learn and build your skills with this company.
