What is Amarone?
Amarone della Valpolicella is one of Italy’s most revered wines — made from partially dried Corvina grapes in the Veneto region. The drying process concentrates everything: dark cherry, dried fig, chocolate, tobacco, and a finish that lingers for minutes.
A single bottle at the LCBO runs $30–60. A case is $400–700. At Wine Butler you craft 14 bottles yourself — for $69 total.
